FASEB DREAM Mentored Travel Award - Introduction

Maximum Award Amount: $1,500
The FASEB “Diversity Resources for Enrichment, Access & Mentoring” (DREAM) Mentored Poster/Platform Presenter Travel Award is available for first-time attendees/presenters and presenters who want a mentored meeting experience at the Nutrition 2020 meeting. The award is not transferable without proper documentation and authorization. Applicants must not at any time be staffing an exhibit booth/display at the meeting. Violation of this policy during the meeting will invalidate your award.
NOTE:  Travel Awards are available for USA Citizens or Legal Permanent Residents of the USA ONLY.
ABOUT THE FASEB MENTORED POSTER/PLATFORM PRESENTER AWARDS:  APPLY EARLY!!  FASEB is offering a limited number of travel awards of up to $1,500 for eligible students, trainees and postdoctoral/clinical trainee fellows to help defray meeting registration and/or travel-related expenses (lodging, air/ground transportation expenses, and meal allowance  (maximum $180 allowed to be claimed for meal expenses)) associated with attending the Meeting. The maximum amount to be reimbursed for related expenses is $1,500.

The award will be processed as reimbursements to the award recipients after the meeting is over.  Receipts will be required in order to receive reimbursement.  The maximum amount to be reimbursed for meeting- and/or travel-related expenses will be indicated in the award recipient’s notification of award letter.

DEADLINE INFORMATION:  All complete application packets for a Mentored Poster/Platform Presenter Award must be received no later than the published deadline date (5PM ET). Late and/or incomplete application packets will be declined upon receipt.
