Challenging Hike - Pemetic Mountain Hike
This hike starts at the Bubble parking lot. The group will climb the North West Trail, hike across Pemetic Mountain with stunning views of the island and ocean, then descend the South Ridge Trail to Jordan Pond (roughly 3 miles). If time permits, we may be able to stop at the Jordan Pond House Restaurant for popovers and lemonade.

Moderate Hike - Sand Beach and Great Head Trail
This hike starts at the Sand Beach parking lot and includes a couple of loops along the ocean cliffs and coastline. The path offers scenic views and opportunities to relax on the rock formations. Choose your own adventure - this hike can be up to 3 miles or less than 1, depending on the loops selected. Afterwards, hikers can head to the Jordan Pond House for popovers and lemonade.

Leisurely Hike - The Ocean Path
This hike starts at the Sand Beach parking lot and then meanders along the eastern shore for 2 miles to Otter Cliff and Otter Point, passing by the famous Thunder Hole. The Island Explorer (free shuttle) will take you to the Jordan Pond House for popovers and lemonade.

Easy Stroll - Jordan Pond Path
This is a 3.4-mile trail that circles the island's inner lake - Jordan Pond. It begins and ends at the Jordan Pond Restaurant and includes an opportunity for popovers and lemonade.

Tour of Jackson Laboratories
Founded in 1929, JAX is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit biomedical research institution. Its research breakthroughs have helped form the foundation of modern medicine. Organ and bone marrow transplants, stem cell therapies, and in vitro fertilization all have a foundation in JAX research. This is a 1.5-hour tour (limited to 15 people).
