Dear Colleague,
The African Society for Immunodeficiencies (ASID), in cooperation with IPOPI and African Patient Organisations, is developing an African registry for patients with Inborn Errors of Immunity (IEI) (also called Primary Immunodeficiencies-PIDs).
This registry is aimed to improve diagnosis, care, research, and epidemiology across Africa. The registry will use REDCap, a secure, HIPAA/GDPR-compliant platform widely used for clinical data collection.
This survey (5–7 minutes) aims to:
• Gather your perspective on an African registry potential impact and challenges,
• Assess interest in contributing patient data.
