To complete your enrollment, we'll ask for your email and mobile phone number and have you answer a few brief demographic questions. Then we’ll send you polls whenever we have questions!

What is the Advisor Community?

The Advisor Community is a group of adults ages 18-35 who share feedback with the American Sexual Health Association (ASHA) through online polls and interactive feedback activities.

Your input helps us create more useful, relevant, and effective information about sexual health and relationships.

What can I expect as a participant?

As an Advisor Community member, you will periodically receive emails or text messages inviting you to participate in polls, surveys, or other activities.

When you receive an invitation:
  • You'll see approximately how long the activity should take and how many points you can earn.
  • You'll have a deadline to participate, typically about one week.
  • You’ll be asked about your opinions and experiences with sexual health education and online content, and your reactions to draft materials like graphics, videos, or other educational resources.
  • Participation is always voluntary. You can choose which opportunities to complete.
How do rewards work?

You'll earn 1 point for each minute of estimated participation time.

Examples:
  • 5-minute poll = 5 points
  • 15-minute survey = 15 points
  • 30-minute activity = 30 points
Every time you reach 50 points, you'll receive a $50 Visa gift card by email.

Who can participate?

We're looking for adults:
  • Ages 18-35
  • Living in the United States
  • With all levels of experience, knowledge, and backgrounds related to sexual health and relationships
No special expertise is required. We want to hear a wide range of perspectives.

How will my information be used?

Your privacy is important to us. Your email address and phone number will be used only to:
  • Manage your participation
  • Track reward eligibility
  • Deliver gift cards and program communications
We won’t connect your contact information to your survey or poll responses. We won't share your contact information with anyone. Responses will be analyzed only for research, educational, and public health purposes.

Advisor Community Participation Agreement

By joining the Advisor Community, you agree to:
  • Receive email or text message invitations to participate in polls, surveys, and feedback activities.
  • Answer questions honestly, thoughtfully and by the deadline.
  • Keep your email address and phone number up-to-date if you want to continue participating.
In return, the American Sexual Health Association agrees to:
  • Use participant feedback to improve sexual health education and public health efforts.
  • Track participation and provide a $50 Visa gift card each time you earn 50 points.
  • Protect your confidentiality and keep your contact information private and separate from any survey results.
  • Honor requests to leave the program and stop communications.
