LAUSD Induction: Education Specialist (ONLY)

By completing this document, you are indicating that you would like to be considered for the LAUSD ASD-AA program for Education Specialist Credentials.

Minimum requirements for participating in ASD-AA:

Current contracted teacher with LAUSD
Must not already be CTC authorized to teach students with Autism (Please go to ctc.ca.gov > search for an educator > secured search (enter your information) > click on document number for your Education Specialist Credential > scroll down and look for the authorization)
Must already hold an Education Specialist preliminary, clear, Level I or Level II Mild/Moderate or Mod/Severe /Extensive Support Needs credential

ASD-AA typically is offered once a year beginning in late Fall. There are two courses requiring participation in twenty-one sessions.

iCAAP personnel will contact you once the application information is verified. Applications are verified in September. If you have any questions, you may email them to iCAAP@lausd.net. Please add "ASD-AA" in the subject line of your email.
