City of Pasadena - 2014 After School Adventures Program Evaluation
Annual ASAP Survey
Dear Parents and Guardians:
We want to take the opportunity to request your participation in our annual survey of the After School Adventures Program. Our goal is to continually invest in this program by striving to keep our staff ratios low, by increasing training for academic support and by continuing to improve our classroom environment with plentiful and creative supplies. We will continue to provide greater assistance with homework help, fun educational enrichment activities, and special interest activities including art, music and leadership. We also recognize that the continued development of our staff is a top priority. To that end, staff regularly participates in training and many are completing 12 units in Early Child Development courses. Our investment in staff is a top priority to ensure our program meets the needs of Pasadena children and their families.
This survey will be available from Monday, January 27 through February 10, 2014. The responses received are imperative as we develop next year’s budget and establish program priorities. To make certain you have a chance to discuss any potential changes and/or provide feedback, please plan on attending one of four parent meetings starting February 18th (please see meeting schedule listed below). All meeting locations are offering Spanish translation and child care.
Tuesday, February 18th, 6pm @ Don Benito Fundamental School Wednesday, February 19th, 6pm @ Field elementary School Thursday, February 20th, 6pm @ McKinley Elementary School Tuesday, February 25th, 6pm @ Madison Elementary School
We look forward to receiving your completed survey and following up with you at one of the February parent meetings.
