Overview
The purposes of the Poster Presentations are to promote the research of prosthodontics and engage residents and predoctoral dental students. The poster can be a presentation of research results, clinical outcomes, laboratory techniques, or topics of general interest to the American College of Prosthodontists' members and guests. It is intended to highlight the scholarly activity of the residents and dental students. Commercial presentations are not appropriate for this session. 

Applications are due July 29, 2016. Applications received after the deadline will not be eligible to participate.

Please Note: You will receive an email confirmation within 1 week confirming receipt of your application. If you do not receive a confirmation, please call the ACP Central Office at 312-573-1260 to confirm receipt of your application. Receipt of the application does not guarantee it will be accepted. Acceptance emails will be sent the week of August 22. The ACP will not accept late applications.

Requirements
  1. Must be currently enrolled in a 3-4-year advanced training program in prosthodontics which is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association or a DDS/DMD dental program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. Additionally, graduates who completed an accredited prosthodontics residency program within 6 months prior to the Annual Session are also encouraged to participate. All others interested in presenting at the Annual Session are encouraged to become an ACP member and apply to present at the Member Speaker Forum Presentation Session. 
  2. Must be a resident member or predoctoral alliance affiliate of the ACP or eligible for membership. You must submit your membership application to the ACP Central Office prior to submitting your poster application for review. DDS/DMD students must join as a Predoctoral Alliance Affiliate and eligible residents must join as a Resident/Graduate Student Member (see the following link for additional information:

  3. The primary presenter is required to register for the meeting prior to being accepted. If a second person will assist in the Poster Presentation, they must also meet the above requirements and must register for the meeting. No applicants will be accepted until they have registered for the meeting.
  4. The primary presenter must present the Poster Presentation and be present at their poster during the required time to answer questions.
  5. Commercial presentations will not be considered.
