What is the AESQ? The Aerospace Engine Supplier Quality (AESQ) Strategy Group was established as a Program of the SAE ITC to guide, development, promote and deploy a common set of quality requirements, in particular those created by the SAE International G-22 AESQ Technical Committee. AESQ also provides supplementary materials, guidance documents, reference manuals, training and other support materials to assist with the implementation of standards.

What is AS13100?  The SAE AS13100™ AESQ Quality Management System Requirements for Aero Engine Design and Production Organizations Standard has been created to harmonize and simplify supplier quality requirements that are in addition to the requirements of AS/EN/SJAC9100 Quality Management Systems - Requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defence Organizations and AS/EN/SJAC9145 Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process.

AS13100 sets out to create a common set of supplemental requirements for all aero-engine suppliers with common reference materials to improve understanding, efficiency, and performance. While significantly simplifying the businesses of suppliers with multiple aero-engine customers, the primary intent of the new AS13100 Standard is to improve overall product quality by focusing on the key systems and processes currently deterring consistent aerospace engine product quality.

What is the AS13100 Deployment Survey? In order to better understand how the AESQ can support suppliers in their implementation of the AS13100 Standard, the AESQ has designed the attached survey to collect supplier feedback and suggestions on future improvements to the Standard and the implementation tools used to support it.
