Welcome to the ARC Internship Application.

Applied Research Consultants (ARC) is a student-run consulting firm composed of graduate students and faculty within the Applied Psychology Program at Southern Illinois University. ARC is offering internship positions to undergraduate psychology majors/minors.

-Successful completion of Psychology 211 and 311 with a B or higher
-Overall GPA 3.0+
-Strong interest in consulting
-Good communication skills
-Willingness to work in a team environment

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)
-Attend weekly ARC meetings
-Respond to email requests from ARC associates
-Assist with data entry, data cleaning, and data analyses
-Create tables, graphs, and charts for reports
-Assist in formatting and editing completed reports

The Application Process
Please complete all sections of the application thoroughly. Applications will be accepted until two weeks (2) prior to the start of the semester. Applications after this date will be considered for the following semester. 

Your application must include all of the following:
-Internship Application (completed online)
-One page statement of intent describing why you want to be an intern for ARC
-An unofficial transcript
-One to two letters of recommendation (at least one from a faculty member)
-Current resume or curriculum vita

Funding/Academic Credit:
Please note that all internships are unpaid. However, academic credit (PSYC 393: Professional Practicum) is available and arrangements for accreditation should be made before you begin the internship.
