Introduction

At times doctors have to work at the limits of their scope of practice in order to meet the needs of their patients. This takes courage. This project builds on our work to understand rural doctors’ experience of clinical courage. We are seeking to understand the experience of doctors during times of significant stress such as the COVID 19 pandemic.

This brief survey is intended to provide a platform for rural doctors to register their interest in participating in an interview about clinical courage and COVID 19. Only those rural doctors that confirm their interest in participating will be contacted. The interviews may be held via telephone or videoconference (Zoom software) depending on the preference of each participant and last up to 60 minutes.

The information that will be collected by this survey will be confidentially kept. However, the researchers cannot guarantee the confidentiality of information exchanged using the Internet.
