Call for Proposals - APTAs of Maryland and DC 2020 Fall Conference |
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: June 1, 2020
The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) of DC and Maryland are accepting Submissions for educational courses to be presented at the 2020 Fall Conference to be held on November 14, 2020. Informative submissions are welcome including work that has been presented at other conferences, symposia or inservices.
Speaking at our Regional Annual Conference is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and enthusiasm. We want to encourage speaker participation and will be offering incentives such as discounted registration and honoraria for selected sessions. We welcome PTs, PTAs, and all others with expertise in the topic of their presentation to present a proposal for this conference.
Educational Credit: Each course should be either three or six hours in length.
Selection of abstracts will be peer reviewed and based on the foundation in evidence, clarity, probable interest to participants, and space constraints. Decisions on Abstract selection will be made by July 1, 2020.
Please note - For selected sessions, we will offer a flat honorarium of $125/hour that can be divided among the speakers of that session in whatever manner those speakers decide. Conference registration, lodging and travel expenses are not provided.
When submitting your proposal, be sure to create a word document and cut and paste into Survey Monkey, as the submission will not be available after this form is completed.
