APD Session at the 2019 World Congress of Dermatology - Dermatology Education Across The Americas, Europe, Africa And Asia

As a sister society of the ILDS, the APD will host this half-day session at the World Congress of Dermatology, where representatives from 6 continents will deliver a comprehensive view of dermatology training programs from around the world. We wish to learn how dermatologists are trained and become recognized as specialists…the selection of residents, duration of the training, financial support of residents, areas of training, specialty exams (boards), accreditation of residency programs, government requirements to be recognized as a specialist, maintenance of certification. Join us for this unique activity, as we establish the connections of the different dermatology training programs of the world, certain to benefit our specialty.
