There is still much debate regarding pornography and whether it is addictive or not. Some individuals feel like they are addicted to pornography while others believe it is having little influence on their life. Using common professional criteria to assess addiction, the following questions focus on your involvement in pornography and how it may or may not be influencing your life. This assessment will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Your answers will be used for research purposes.
(Note: This assessment is most helpful for individuals who have actively been viewing pornography. Those who take this assessment and have a few months or years of sobriety will be able to identify areas of growth in their recovery, and will find that their answers to some of the questions have changed as result of working towards recovery.
Please review each question and mark the question that most accurately describes your current experience with pornography.
