2021 Application overview

Thank you for your interest in the Access Paratransit Advisory Committee (APAC). The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to advise the King County Metro Transit, the King County Executive and the Council on issues related to Access paratransit relative to the terms of the contract for Access paratransit service.

The Access Paratransit Advisory Committee (APAC) has eleven (11) members who are appointed by the Executive and confirmed by the Council by motion. Membership is comprised of Access paratransit riders, family members of Access paratransit riders, representatives of organizations that provide services to Access paratransit riders and representatives of organizations that support Access paratransit riders and/or potential riders who have limited English proficiency.

Members shall serve for either a one-year or two-year term. APAC holds a public meeting monthly and holds subcommittee meetings as needed to complete the work plan and address other issues as they arise. APAC monthly meetings are held the second Monday of every month 6:00pm – 7:30pm and are currently held virtually on the Zoom platform until further notice.

Completing this application does not guarantee appointment to the Access Paratransit Advisory Committee, instead your application will be provided to the King County Executive and Council for consideration for an appointment. A resume may be submitted in lieu of submitting a completed application form.
