About the Program

With support from Atlas Kardia Foundation, the Active Minds for Every Mind: Southern California cohort of 20 students, across 10 Southern California college campuses, will reach at least 5,000 students with meaningful mental health initiatives. These students will be responsible for planning and executing a program or initiative on their campus during the fall of 2022 that specifically aims to empower underserved populations.
 
Applications are due March 31st by 11:59 Pacific Time. 

You must attend a college or university in Southern California to be eligible for this program, and graduate no earlier than December 2022.
 
Students who are accepted into the Active Minds for Every Mind: Southern California Program will receive the following-
  • A $1,000 stipend
  • Training in mental health programming and leadership from Active Minds Staff
  • Support in program management on their campus from Active Minds Staff
  • Exclusive invitations to Active Minds workshops and summits
Program Timeline
  • Applications Due: March 31st, 2022
  • Acceptance Decisions: Week of April 11th, 2022
  • Virtual Ambassador Spring Orientation: April 30th, 2022
  • Individual Assignments: Summer 2022 (May-August)
  • In-Person Summit: September 2022 TBD
  • Program Implementation on Campuses: September-October 2022
  • Final Interviews/Evaluation: November 2022
