* Discipline Committee - Hearings (5 year term; Alberta Land Surveyors only)
The Discipline Committee meets when a discipline hearing is held. Members will be expected, when asked, to attend a hearing and make a written decision on the case heard.

* To be renamed the Discipline Tribunal/Appeal Tribunal and have updated terms of reference when the Professional Governance Act takes effect.


* Discipline Committee - Investigations (5 year term; Alberta Land Surveyors only)
When a complaint is received, and if mediation is not possible or does not work, an Alberta Land Surveyor is required to conduct an investigation to assess whether the complaint should go forward to a hearing or not.

* To be renamed the Complaints Inquiry Committee and have updated terms of reference when the Professional Governance Act takes effect.
