ACT Leadership Cohort Registration (ALC) | 2024

Thank you for registering for the ACT (Arts for Change and Transformation) Leadership Cohort!

Please note, to be responsive to teens coming from different parts of Denver and its surrounding cities, workshop times have been shifted to 5:00pm - 7:00pm each day.
The ACT Leadership Cohort, or ALC, is a six month extension of our popular Community ACT program and a revision of our Community Leadership Cohort. This program kicks off with our usual two week ACT intensive, exploring arts, social justice, and social-emotional learning, followed by weekly creative programming where we'll work with professional artists in the community, explore movement and wellness practices, and work together to create a culminating art project that activates our communities.

The Cohort will participate in the two week intensive, Monday - Friday @ 5:00 - 7:00pm, May 6th - 17th, 2024. The intensive will take place at our 2900 N. Downing St. location. We will then shift into 6 months of weekly workshops on Tuesdays, 5:00-7:00pm from May 21st through October 29th, 2024. Participants must be between the ages of 13 to 18 to register.

All of our workshops will be in-person at our 2900 N. Downing location or other sites in the Denver Metro area (virtual options sometimes available for those who need it). RTD is currently free until August 31st, 2024 for anyone 19 or under if you need support with transportation, and we can provide passes after that date. (We'll typically host workshops right across the 26th and Downing light rail station!)

We strongly encourage diverse, creative youth leaders of color to register!

Cohort participants will earn up to $1,350 for the whole program and receive free art materials to keep!

Please note that filling out this form does not guarantee you one of the 20 spots in the cohort. We work on a first come, first serve basis while also taking into consideration our racial parity (50% BIPOC participants in all of our programs), and the amount of times registrants have participated in our ACT programming before.

After you complete this form, someone from CSC will reach out to set up time to connect and answer any questions you might have about the program! We will announce our ACT Leadership Cohort members shortly after.
