Submit your questions about sarcoidosis
Introduction to the study
Living with sarcoidosis often means facing uncertainty. Many people tell us they still have questions about their symptoms, treatments and what the future might look like. These are what we call "unmet information needs".
To help with this, we are launching the AIR-Sarcoidosis Study. We want to find out whether Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbots can give patients accurate, reliable, and easy-to-understand answers to the questions they have about sarcoidosis.
We need your questions
We want to test AI using real-world questions from people living with sarcoidosis. Think back to when you were diagnosed or even now:

We need your questions
We want to test AI using real-world questions from people living with sarcoidosis. Think back to when you were diagnosed or even now:
- What do you wish you had asked your doctor?
- What still feels unclear or worrying?
- What do you wonder about your symptoms, treatments or your future?
You can ask about anything related to sarcoidosis, including:
- Organs involved (lungs, heart, skin, eyes, etc.)
- Symptoms and daily life (fatigue, pain, impact on work or activities)
- Treatments (medications, side effects, risks)
- Life planning (work, disability, pregnancy, fertility)
How to take part
It is very simple. Click the 'Next' button below and then type one or two short questions that are important to you. Your questions are completely anonymous. By taking part, you will help us understand if AI can safely inform people with sarcoidosis - or whether we need to be more cautious about how AI is used in healthcare.

Who is running the study?
The AIR-Sarcoidosis Study is being carried out by The AIR-Sarcoidosis Research Team In partnership with the European Lung Foundation (ELF). The research team is based at Humanitas University in Milan, Italy. If you need more information please email info@europeanlung.org
