- The IP Practitioner as an Innovator: as innovation increasingly becomes a client expectation from practitioners, this session will look at how you can enhance your creative thinking, so as to open up innovative solutions to your clients

- Articulating Your Value and Your Differentiators in the IP Arena: what sets you (and your team) apart from other intellectual practitioners? Learn how to differentiate yourself as an IP practitioner from other IP practitioners when you present your "unique selling points" to prospective clients

- Goal Setting for Your Career as an Intellectual Property Practitioner: where do you see your career heading in the short and longer term? Setting goals strengthens motivation, increases one’s success rate and sense of achievement as well as encouraging focus. This session will explore techniques for effective goal setting.

- Driving Your Career and Taking Control of Your Progress: an important aspect of achieving the goals for your career in the IP arena is being able to assertively take charge of your path, rather than leaving it in the hands of others. For example, in today's busy environment, you might not receive feedback from your supervisors unless you specifically ask for it or you will not be offered work on specific projects that could build your skillset without taking charge of the work you do yourself. This session will explore tools to help you be in the driver's seat of your career as an IP practitioner.

- IP EQ: enhance your emotional intelligence in your client interactions. The ability to understand others’ emotions, empathise with those emotions and respond to them appropriately is now regarded as the new "smart" and when a practitioner pairs sound intellectual property advice with high emotional quotient, they will truly be seen as a trusted advisor.

- Presenting your Best Self and Brand Online: online stagecraft and how to deliver complex technical presentations in a virtual setting (e.g. how to make a detail-heavy technical presentation about a large trademark portfolio or a highly-technical scientific patent engaging to different levels of audiences?)

- Deliver Legal Advice in a Commercial Way: as IP practitioners our advice to clients often involves significant detail and options (as well as academic aspects). Clients who are time-poor often need that advice to be commercial and succinct. In this session we will explore what it means to be truly commercial as a practitioner and how to find out what would best serve the clients' interests and how to provide them with that.

- Building Internal/External Networks Virtually: your business development is only as good as the networks you build within the IP world - both in your own business and with other practitioners. This session will look at tools and tips to build your networks as a way to make your business development easier and more effective.
