Governor's Task Force on Aging

Governor Bill Haslam announced on August 23, 2013 the formation of the Task Force on Aging, a group charged with creating a plan to improve the lives and care of older Tennesseans and their families through a collaboration of public, private and nonprofit leaders. Haslam has asked the task force to focus on three areas:

1. promoting healthy aging;
2. creating livable communities; and
3. supporting family caregivers.

The Task Force on Aging will develop a strategic plan, drawing on the public, private and non-profit sectors to better meet the needs of older Tennesseans and their families, now and into the future.

The Task Force is interested in hearing your ideas and this survey will allow you to submit them directly to the group.

We thank you, in advance, for sharing your thoughts on how we can all make Tennessee a better place for the State's aging residents and their families.
