This position is a part time position beginning mid-August. Work days are two days a week, with coordination of programs in Carthage Elementary Schools that Art Feeds serves. These hours will be on 2 days TBD. These work days will be between Monday-Friday and between the hours of 8:00 am-4:00 pm in Carthage, MO with a 16 hour minimum and 20 hour maximum work week.
Job Description:
Art Feeds provides expressive art and creative education programs to children by partnering with schools and children's organizations. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring these programs run smoothly & effectively in 3 schools per semester, 16-20 hours a week.
The position includes program execution (including scheduling, educator support and art supply logistics), volunteer coordination and outside events. A more detailed job description is available upon request.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a bachelor's degree in art, education, special education, social work, or other related field
• 3+ years experience with children
• Experience with non-profit organization and/or systems preferred
• Proactive, helpful, can-do attitude

Working Conditions:
• The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 20% sitting, 40% walking, and 40% standing.
• This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
• Position requires office and classroom hours between Mon-Fri between the hours of 8:00 am-4:00 pm
• Position requires daily travel between work sites (schools, workshop locations, office)
