Advanced Mathematics in the CCR Standards - Part 2 (PD Hours: 6)
If the Advanced Mathematics in the CCR Standards- Part 1 was helpful, you need to take this sequel workshop. In the second workshop, teachers will explore many topics including exponents and roots, including negative and fractional exponents, quadratic equations, polynomials, etc. In addition, teachers will examine sample questions from the various HiSET practice math tests. Since the topics covered in this second workshop build on concepts covered in the first workshop, it is strongly recommended that teachers take both workshops in sequence. (Please note that this Part 2 class builds upon the principles taught in our Advanced Mathematics Part 1 and it is strongly recommended that you take the Part 1 class first.
