ADRIC 2018: The ADR Institute of Canada's National Conference

The ADRIC 2018: ADR Institute of Canada's National Conference, will be held in Montréal, QC, November 21-23, 2018.

ADRIC holds the conference in a different part of the country every year to provide exposure to these regions and to highlight the country’s diversity so that we can learn from each other. (For more information and updates: www.ADRIC.ca).

If you are interested in speaking, the ADRIC 2018 Committee invites you to submit a proposal.

Proposal Submission Deadline: Friday, June 1st, 2018

As a non-profit organization, the conference is financed by sponsorship. All else being equal, speakers who sponsor are preferred. If you are not able to sponsor, please consider asking a business or firm interested in your topic to sponsor.
Proposals will be evaluated and selected based on the following criteria:
  • New and innovative topic
  • Eligibility for Law Society of Ontario Professionalism CPD Accreditation
  • Clear description of presentation and learning outcomes
  • Past speaking experience and knowledge in relation to the topic

NOTE: The sessions are NOT a platform for selling products or services. ADRIC does not offer speaker fees or expense reimbursement.

Session Length: Sessions are scheduled to last either 75 or 90 minutes. Adherence to timing is exceptionally important.

Session Size: Audience size generally ranges from 30-80 for break-out sessions.

Session Type: Proposals may be in the following formats: Presentations, Workshops, Case Studies, Panel Discussions, Open Forums, or Dialogue Circles.

SELECTION PROCESS
Proposal Submission Deadline: Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:59pm EST.

Only complete submissions will be given consideration. The Conference committee may
recommend that similar proposals combine into one session.

To allow us to provide presentations and content that is accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CDP) credits by the Law Society of Ontario, preference will be given to proposals that touch on subjects listed below. Please identify which, if any, of the topics below will be addressed during your conference session, and indicate how much time during your session you will devote to each topic (if applicable).

Please be sure to save or print a copy of your proposal before submitting it as it contains
valuable information on the requirements and format of the sessions.
