Clinicians, quality professionals and clinical leaders
The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) is inviting feedback on the Acute Coronary Syndromes Clinical Care Standard (the Standard). The Standard was first published in 2014 and last reviewed in 2019.
Since then, evidence, models of care, and system pressures have continued to evolve. The Commission is now reviewing the Standard to ensure that it reflects current best practice and focuses on areas where improvement is most needed.

About this survey
We are seeking input from health professionals involved in caring for people with suspected or confirmed acute coronary syndromes (ACS), or in improving ACS care.
This includes clinical roles, clinical or operational leadership roles, or both (e.g. clinical care, department or service management, quality improvement, data collection, and clinical quality registries).

- All responses are valued, even if you are not familiar with the Standard.
- Your responses are anonymous. To help interpret findings, we will ask about your role and work setting.
- This is not a compliance assessment. We are interested in your experience of current practice, data collection, and the barriers and enablers to implementing the care described in the Standard.
- Please respond based on your primary workplace over the past 12 months. If you work across multiple sites, please select the setting where you spend the majority of your time, or where you have the most exposure to people with suspected or confirmed ACS.
Survey details
- Time: approximately 20 to 30 minutes (please ensure you have sufficient time to complete the survey in one session)
- Closes: 11:59 pm on Tuesday 2 June 2026.
About Clinical Care Standards
Clinical Care Standards support the delivery of safe, high quality, evidence-based care across Australia. Each Standard includes a small number of quality statements describing key aspects of care where improvement can lead to better outcomes, and indicators to support monitoring and improvement.
