The Australian Clinical Practice Skills Workshop is a personalised workshop that gives a concise and effective run-through of the nature and expectations of the clinical interview and clinical examination in Australia, and has been developed through broad consultation with examiners, successful SIMG Fellows and SIMGs.
The aim is for the workshop to be as interactive as possible. Participants are given specific insights into what adjustments they need to make in their practice to pass the OSCE and successfully adapt to the practice of psychiatry in Australia.
As a result, participants learn how to refine their clinical skills to match the expectations of the College and their workplace.
