In addition, the VP serves as an ambassador of ACNM, helping to cultivate relationships with external organizations and exploring partnership and sponsorship opportunities that advance the organization’s mission and support volunteer-driven initiatives.Core Responsibilities 1. Coordinate quarterly meetings of the Volunteer Leadership Council (VLC) 2. Oversee the national awards process, including intake, review, and coordination 3. Facilitate the annual ACNM Awards Ceremony 4. Serve as liaison to the Fellows Board of Governors (FACNM) 5. Maintain compliance with bylaws related to volunteer structure and leadership 6. Participates in Executive Team and Board of Directors meetings, frequency variesLiaison Responsibilities 1. Volunteer Leadership Council (VLC): meets quarterly (1–2 hours) 2. Region IV Representative (States: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio) Role Summary Regional Representatives serve as vital liaisons between the ACNM Board of Directors and members within their assigned geographic areas. They represent regional concerns, communicate national initiatives, and facilitate engagement with affiliates and individual members. Representatives promote ACNM’s mission, encourage professional development, and ensure regional voices are heard in strategic decisions. They also serve as ambassadors of ACNM by fostering relationships with local organizations and exploring sponsorship or partnership opportunities that support member engagement and regional growth.Core Responsibilities 1. Maintain consistent, bidirectional communication with regional affiliates and members 2. Attend and actively participate in Board meetings, the Annual Meeting, and strategic planning sessions 3. Share updates on national initiatives and policies with the region 4. Gather and present feedback from regional constituents to the Board and staff 5. Support affiliate operations including bylaws, events, leadership engagement, and education 6. Assist with regional awards, member recognition, and fundraising initiatives 7. Promote ACNM’s presence and advocacy within state and regional organizations 8. Ensure compliance with ACNM Bylaws and support organizational cohesionLiaison Responsibilities 1.
