Scholarship Application

The Autauga County Farmers Federation sponsors college scholarships for students planning to pursue a course of study in agriculture or a related field.

Requirements:

· Must be a U.S. citizen and resident of Autauga County

· Must be planning to obtain a degree in agriculture or related field

· Must submit a letter of acceptance from the university of choice (If you are an incoming freshman)

· Must submit an official transcript from high school/college

· Must submit a resume

· Must submit three letters of reference; one should be from someone in the agricultural field

· Must submit a one page, typed essay outlining why you are applying for this scholarship and your future goals

Answers to FAQ's:

· Applicants do not have to be an ALFA member to apply.

· Applicants do not have to be a freshman to apply.

· Applications must be received by April 1.

· Schools may submit more than one application.

· One recipient will be chosen and notified by early May.

· If selected, the scholarship funding will deposited directly into the individual’s respective scholarship account sometime in September or early October.
