Introduction:

The Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES) is the premier organization dedicated to quality education and supervision of counselors in all work settings.  ACES members are counselors, supervisors, graduate students, and faculty members who strive to improve the education and supervision of counselors in training and in practice.

Opportunity:

We will be taking applications for volunteers to assist in this year’s conference.  This is a great opportunity for graduate students enrolled in either Masters or Doctoral programs.  See below for basic information and requirements. 

Benefits:

Students who are accepted as volunteers in this year’s conference will receive a ½ off registration discount.  Free T-shirts.  Volunteer experience in ACES for building professional vita.

Duties: Duties of volunteers include but are not limited to assisting in registration, career link, and presenter support.  All volunteers will need to be available to work a minimum of 12-15 hours. If a volunteer is presenting, there will be an exception for their approved presentation schedule.

Requirements:

Current enrollment in a Masters or Doctoral counseling program. 

Member of ACES

Deadline for applications on volunteers will be June 16, 2017. Decisions will be made before the early bird deadline to attend.  All applications will be processed and given approval 48 hours prior to June 30, 2017.
