NASDTEC Annual Conference Request for Presentation Proposals

Overview and before you start

NASDTEC is pleased to announce its 98th Annual Conference in Anaheim, CA on June 19-22, 2027, at the JW Marriott. NASDTEC is dedicated to providing leadership and support to those responsible for the preparation, certification or licensure, and continuing professional development of educators.

Relying on feedback from previous conferences, the conference committee strives to utilize the talents of NASDTEC members and partners to present interactive sessions in which speakers share innovative and proven practices, including successes and opportunities for growth.

For the 98th Annual Conference, the conference committee is seeking proposals that engage stakeholders across the educator continuum and are focused on the following topics:

Conference Strand 1: Credentialing Frontier
Pioneering the Path: Charting New Frontiers
What innovative practices are being used to improve and modernize educator pathways leading to licensure?

Conference Strand 2: Tech, Ethics, & Efficiency
Tomorrow's Blueprint: Innovation with Integrity
How is forward-thinking technology grounded by human values and design ethics changing the efficiency of credentialing and educator preparation?

Conference Strand 3: Policy, Partnership, and Productive Dialogue
Main Street Alliances: Building Common Ground
What cross-sector collaboration and partnerships are moving policies into impactful practice?

Conference Strand 4: Exploratory and Emerging Trends
Beyond the Horizon: The Next Realm of Discovery
What emerging transformations are building momentum to improve the preparation, certification, and continuing professional development of educators?

Proposals must be submitted by the close of business on November 20, 2026.

Concurrent sessions will be announced by mid-January 2027.

If your proposed presentation is selected for a conference session, you and your co-presenters will be required to pay for conference registration, travel, hotel, and meals (for any meals not included during the conference). NASDTEC does not compensate or reimburse expenses associated with conference participation.
