General Funding Criteria:

Community Partnership ABCD Grant Awards


Activities funded must clearly support population health and wellbeing, using an asset-based approach that helps reduce demand on statutory health services.

Key requirements:
  • Successful applicants must sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) before funding is released.
  • Progress and final evaluation reports (templates provided) must be completed.
  • The Community Partnership funder must be acknowledged in all communications/media.
  • Applicants may be invited to present their project to the Community Partnership Leadership Team.
  • Applications must be from groups/individuals with a base or track record in the relevant Community Partnership area.
  • Only one grant per organisation per financial year is normally awarded.
  • If applying for part-funding, you must provide details of any match funding (source, amount, dates).
  • Delivery period: 6 weeks - 12 months

What will not be funded:
Retrospective costs (events or purchases already made).
Building refurbishments or capital works.
Political or religious activities.
School curriculum-related activities.
For-profit organisations.
Activities that should be funded by statutory services.

Other information:
Incomplete applications may be delayed or rejected (support is available if needed).
Some data collected will be shared with the Community Partnership and external partners.
