2026 Young Technician Award: Nomination Form

About AASP/NJ's Young Technician Award

Thanks to a generous donation from World Insurance and Spark Underwriters, AASP/NJ will award $5,000 ($2,500 each) worth of tools and equipment to TWO rising repair professionals employed at a repair shop or technical school. This year, in addition to honoring a collision repair student or tech, we are thrilled to also open up nominations to the mechanical repair sector!

The award will be given out at AASP/NJ’s flagship event, the NORTHEAST® Automotive Services Show, which will be held March 20-22 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ.

To be considered for the Young Technician Award, candidates must either be employed by a collision or mechanical repair shop and working in the industry for less than five years, or currently studying at a technical / vocational school. Nominating organization must be either a current AASP/NJ member in good standing, a collision or mechanical repair facility, or a technical / vocational school. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
