You are invited to submit an application to attend this one-day free workshop sponsored by Project 2061, the science education initiative of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

The workshop will take place at AAAS Headquarters, 1200 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, and will introduce you to Project 2061's new curriculum units for middle school science and high school life science students. You will also have a chance to try out activities in the units to see how they support the three-dimensional vision of teaching and learning in Next Generation Science Standards.

Teams of two or more middle and high school educators are encouraged to apply. A light lunch will be served.
