Thank you very much for taking the time to complete this anonymous survey.
The purpose of this survey is to track non-union Electrician (and ONLY Electrician) pay rates from 2000 to 2012, and to see how they've changed over the years. The results will be announced in a few weeks in Lance Darcy's column, LD On The DL, published by Live Design.
How this survey works:
Suppose you remember working as an electrician for non-union event production company from 2002-2004 for $20/hour. They paid you on a W2. You would input the following data:
Date: Check boxes for 2002, 2003, 2004
Pay Rate: 20
Each survey can handle a maximum of 6 employers. However if you have worked for more than 6 employers, you are welcome to take the survey a second or third time. If your rate changed over time while with the same employer, consider it a separate entry.
Use a separate page for each employer you remember working for.
Events include weddings, industrials, bar mitzvah, up-fronts, or one-offs.
Theater/performance include any genre where the main focus was a live performance.
TV includes anything meant for camera.
