Ashridge offers 1000’s of acres of unspoilt countryside to freely and safely exercise dogs. The Estate is owned and managed by the National Trust and we welcome responsible dog walking.

There are growing concerns, however, about the amount of dog mess in the area, and the National Trust is keen to hear your views to enable us to consider our response to this issue.

We want to protect Ashridge for the benefit of everyone so please help us by filling in this short questionnaire, which will only take a couple of minutes to complete.

* 1. How regularly do you walk your dog on the Ashridge Estate?

* 2. Which area of the Ashridge Estate do you use most for dog walking?

* 3. Do you clean up after your dog?

* 4. Are you happy to take your dog waste home with you?

* 5. Are you happy to flick dog mess into the undergrowth with a stick to degrade naturally?

* 6. Would you like to see dog waste bins at Ashridge?

* 7. If ‘yes’, how many and where should they be located?
If 'no' please comment

* 8. Would you be prepared to donate funds to pay for dog waste bins?
