This survey is looking at how people rate themselves and others on different personality characteristics that may be relevant to psychopathic personality disorder (PPD). The survey is part of the validation of a new model of PPD and is carried out by researchers at the Department of Psychology, Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland.
We invite mental health professionals and people without any professional experience with personality disorders to take part in the survey. You must be 18 years or older to take part.
In the survey you will be asked to rate a number of personality characteristics on how well they define a person of your choice. You can choose to rate yourself, a patient, a friend or a sibling; however, the person you rate must also be at least 18 years old.
The survey is completely confidential and anonymous. It will only take about 10 minutes to complete. There are no direct benefits to you in taking part in this survey but your contribution will help us understand PPD better.
This survey is not a diagnostic test of PPD!
