Course Overview:
The IHS Pharmacy Last Wednesdays Webinar Series has been initiated to address the needs of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in I/T/U settings. Specifically, the series address five (5) areas: 1. Recent Evidence-Based Therapeutic Guidelines; 2. New Practices/Clinical Collaboration Models within IHS; 3. The Scope of Practice and Standards of Practice of IHS Pharmacy; 4. Ongoing Professional/Legal Changes in the Pharmacy Profession; and 5. Issues Confronting Institutional or Ambulatory Care Practice.

Learning Objectives:

As a result of completing this training, participants will be able to:
1. Distinguish the clinical presentation, diagnosis, and treatment strategies of patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) from those with heart failure preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and
2. Develop a therapeutic plan for treating a patient with HFpEF and one with HFrEF.
