The East High "We Are One Inside Out Art Project" grew out of the 10th grade Clemente/AVID humanities course at East High School in Salt Lake City, in which sophomores studied the history of public art as part of a year-long interdisciplinary course. The art project was made possible through a partnership between the Utah Humanities Council and East High under the direction of Jorge Rojas and with the portraiture of artist Trisha Empey. The Clemente/AVID humanities course is a partnership between UHC, East High, the University of Utah Honors College and Westminster College's Honors Program.
