SUMMARY
Sibling attendance at the same school directly promotes a positive learning environment for student achievement and school success. We advocate two straightforward enrollment process changes so that siblings will be assigned to the same school when that is the choice of the parent. The process changes we advocate can be accomplished within current district policies and are aligned with the intent and fairness of the current system.

Great schools are built from the ground up with student achievement at the core. Students achieving = Schools succeeding.

• Sibling attendance at the same school fosters a positive learning environment.

• Involved parents create more successful students and more successful schools. Dividing a parent's time and attention among many schools directly detracts from their ability to support their child and their school.

• When our students achieve, our schools succeed, our community succeeds, and SPS succeeds.

We, the undersigned, request two straightforward enrollment process changes so that siblings will be assigned to the same school when that is the choice of the parent.

1. Do not break the Sibling Link. If either child does not gain acceptance to their first choice school, maintain the Link through all choices during the enrollment process.

2. Allow multiples to enroll with a single lottery number
