Introduction

Artists Maryann Worrell and Doug Mott create sculptural installations, which engage the audience and generate conversations on the subject of contemporary farming and the depletion of natural food resources. I am currently working with Street Road Artists Space, located in Conchranville, PA, on an exhibition discussing these ideas.

The contemporary farm can be hard to define. Terms like "family farm" and "factory farm" are not necessarily mutually exclusive, and the lines distinguishing between one kind of farming and another are blurred.   We are interested to learn your definitions, concerns and ideas on the subject of local farming in your area.
This questionnaire was developed for working farmers to share their experience and knowledge with us.  All of your answers will be kept confidential, unless otherwise stated.  The information is solely to draw inspiration to create artwork and community projects to highlight the importance of our natural food resources, supporting local farmers and growing food.
