The City Council has discussed and reviewed potential sites for a future dog park within the City of Knoxville. Staff has identified two possible sites (City-owned) for the future park which are near or outside City limits. Site #1 was located to the East of the Marion County Humane Society building. Site #2 is located between the new access road to the Sewer Plant, and the Bailey Farm property to the north. Each of the sites present great opportunity and each site has its own challenges.
Staff is collecting survey data from the City Council (non-scientific) to better understand Council's perspective when selecting a site for a dog park.
This Citizen Survey mirrors the City Council Survey and is intended to help staff understand your thoughts and perspective about a future dog park. Results will be presented to Council at a future meeting.
