Dear University of Rochester Community:

The mission of the Inclusive Possibilities Cluster (IPC) is to inform, educate, and connect employees and students across the University of Rochester in order to provide a welcoming, comfortable, and inclusive environment for all people, with a particular emphasis on individuals with disabilities, who are traditionally marginalized in academic and other communities. The purpose of this survey is to identify research, activities, and interests related to disability, to informally assess awareness of disability resources throughout the UR community, and to foster collaboration around issues of disability by providing a venue through which interested colleagues can connect. Thank you in advance for helping us promote an inclusive community at UR.

1. In what current research/activities are you engaged related to disability (e.g., accessibility, technology, humanities)?

2. Would you be interested in collaborating on projects/research in the future?

3. Are you (please check all that apply):

4. How are disability issues / disability studies incorporated into your courses, coursework, and/or work area?

* UDL is an educational framework that guides the development of flexible learning environments that accommodate individual learning differences, planning at the outset for multiple ways of representation, expression, and engagement.

6. Are you familiar with the following university resources (please check as many as apply):

7. Would you be interested in being on a list that shows your areas of interest? This list would be on the IPC website, where individuals can search for and contact others with common interests.
