The Michael K. Falligant Scholarship was established in 2014 in honor of the Crisis Center’s former
executive Director, Michael Falligant. Taking on the role of Executive Director 1989, Mike Falligant
worked tirelessly to ensure that the needs of those in our community experiencing mental health issues
and personal crises were met with empathy and compassion. This scholarship was developed in an effort
to aid volunteers who have been inspired to make an impact in their community by pursuing an
advanced degree in a helping profession. Recipients of this scholarship will receive $1000 to put toward
that degree.

The 2019 application is due by April 26, 2019. The winner will be announced by May 4, 2019.
