You are invited to take part in a study named “Personality, social relations, and attitudes towards helping.” This study is being conducted by Wijnand A. P. van Tilburg to investigate how people evaluate themselves. The researchers can be reached at Wijnand.vanTilburg@ul.ie.
If you agree to be in this study, you will be asked to asked several questions about how you see yourself. Afterwards, you will be given a disclosure and explanations of the purpose and the procedures of the study. Your participation will take about 20 minutes.
This study may make you more aware of how knowledge is discovered in psychology and help the investigator better understand what attitudes individuals hold.
There are no known risks associated with this study. If you should at any time find yourself upset or uncomfortable, you may stop participating in the study at any time.
Confidentiality of your research records will be strictly maintained by the researcher. Your name, or any other identifying information, will not be asked for. Information of single individuals will never be disclosed; only aggregated results will be reported in research outlets.
