We are consulting on the Draft North Weald Bassett Neighbourhood Plan, and inviting you to give us your comments on all parts of the Plan. The consultation runs from Monday 16th February to Monday 30th March 2026.

The draft North Weald Bassett Neighbourhood Plan has been created as a direct result of feedback obtained by our residents and community over a period of 8 years. It presents a vision to try and secure a sensitive evolution of our Parish up to 2033, taking into account the development allocations in the Epping Forest District Local Plan. The plan covers a wide range of issues that will influence the well-being, sustainability and long-term conservation and improvement of our communities, ensuring the important heritage and character of each individual village is respected. This consultation seeks to ensure that the community, key stakeholders and interested parties have had the opportunity to review and comment on the emerging Plan.
