Survey of children and young people raised by family and friends carers
This is the first national survey which asks children who are being raised in family and friends care their views. So if you are being raised by someone in your family or a friend but not your parents, you'd love to hear your ideas.
Family Rights Group is a national charity that advises and campaigns with other organisations to improve the lives of children in family and friends care. The results of the survey will influence our work and will help us to get funds for activities or information that the survey tells us you'd like.
We want to hear what you think. Would you like to meet other young people in a similar situation? Would you like to be able to find out more about your rights or what support you could get? Do you have thoughts as to how to make things better for children and young people in family and friends care? There are no right or wrong answers to any of these questions.
At the end of the survey we ask whether you'd like us to get in touch with you. If you do, and are under 16, then you will need your carer or someone with the legal authority, to fill in that section of the survey, giving their agreement to you giving us your name and contact details.
We will publish on our website the results of the survey once we've had 100 responses on www.frg.org.uk. If we do have your contact details, then we will also get back in touch with you.
