1. I will roughly paraphrase Vicki's line of thought as 'We react to what you say about yourself and your subject. If that is confusing or misleading that is your fault. We can not be expected to go check the accuracy of your representations before responding to them.' Now (regardless of how accurately that paraphrase reflects Vicki's actual position), what do you think of this as a general principle of debate and discussion? Not general in a universal sense, but in the still broad context of someone inside the Skeptic community responding to someone from outside that community (as opposed to the more precise context of specific discussions about germ-theory denial, Bill Maher, mystics, 'Dr. Oz', etc.)
