* 1. Dear Staff Member/Governor/Director of Thames View Infants,

I aim to lead the best school possible - where all staff are happy, empowered, feel valued and work seeminglessly to help everyone achieve their best! To help in this, I invite you to let me know your views about the school by completing this Ofsted-style questionnaire. Completion of the questionnaire is voluntary.

I receive confidential and informal feedback from staff and governors throughout the school continously and I pride myself on these good relationships. However, the below questionnaire is a formal mechanism to receive personalised feedback from YOU about OUR school and MY leadership. Only by listening and acting upon such feedback can we truely aspire to be the best school possible. By taking time to fill in the below, you will directly help influence the direction of our school.

I strive hard to improve communication throughout the school and to maintain a close working relationship with everyone. It's a careful balancing act but sometimes however, unintentional misunderstandings do arise. When they do, its important to resolve them straight away so that we can all devote our energies to our core tasks. Completing the below, will also give me the opportunity to put any such misunderstandings straight.

Please answer each question. Completed questionnaires will be confidential to the Headteacher and the Chair of Governors, although I will give an anonymous summary to Governors. The more SPECIFIC you are in your response, the more EFFECTIVE I can be in taking onboard your feedback.

You do not need to include your name, although that helps. Disclosing your name gives me the opportunity to directly act upon your feedback and understand a bit more about your perspective (so I can improve the school further and also resolve any misunderstandings). (Where concerns are raised about child protection, we may have to pass any information we receive to the social services or the police).

During an inspection, Inspectors would not disclose your identity, but may discuss any issues with the school that you raise in your response. Inspectors would also weigh up responses and, where significant, may refer to them in the published inspection report.
