Welcome to this OmniPod User Group Survey. Our goal is to provide OmniPod maker Insulet with user feedback on potential new features. Note: We do not ask about smaller pods and CGM integration because Insulet is already aggressively working on those features. Survey author: I am a father of a daughter with T1 and I am not otherwise affiliated with Insulet.

1. First, let's look at new features for the Pod.
Here we're looking for insight into trade-offs. Rank the following features in order of importance with a rank of 1 being the most important. You can only enter one feature per rank (i.e. only a single choice for #1, a single choice for #2 etc).

Ability to customize pod appearance (skins, stickers, color, designs)
Slightly curved/cushioned (or flexible) bottom of pod for better fit
More visible serial numbers
More visible canula (to confirm insertion and flow)
Larger reservoir (for higher insulin needs)
Removable reservoir (reduce insulin waste, support higher insulin needs)
Better pod adhesion, more contact points (especially around canula)

2. Now let's look at the PDM.
Here we're still looking for insight into trade-offs. Rank the following features in order of importance with a rank of 1 being the most important. You can only enter one feature per rank (i.e. only a single choice for #1, a single choice for #2 etc).

Better form-factor for PDM (smaller, more modern style & features)
Sunlight readable screen
Extend distance that PDM and pod can sync
Integrated lancet in PDM (one less thing to carry)
Waterproof/shockproof PDM option (for outdoor lifestyle)
Rechargeable PDM battery (like cell phone)
Vibrate option for alarms on PDM (more discrete)
Smart phone version of PDM (iPhone, Android, etc)

3. Now we'll look at bolus/basal software.
Here continue to look for insight into trade-offs. Rank the following features in order of importance with a rank of 1 being the most important. You can only enter one feature per rank (i.e. only a single choice for #1, a single choice for #2 etc).

In history, display actual bolus instead of suggested
IOB calc option that includes food bolus (similar to other pumps)
One basal that includes different weekday and weekend settings
Meal pre-sets for combination/extended boluses
Make settings more user-definable (i.e. alarm volume, alarm frequency, extended bolus interval, temp basals, etc)
Bolus from food library by entering amount of item (i.e. grams)
Upload food counts from a computer

4. And here are some other system changes.

Ability to enter carbs eaten to treat a low

5. Now let's look at the whole list all together.
This time we're looking for intensity of need. Rate the importance of each of the following features.
