The City of Farmington thanks you for participating in this important survey. The goal of this survey is to assess the public’s knowledge and support of fair housing law, to understand their experiences with housing and discrimination, and to identify and assess barriers to fair housing in the community.
The results of this survey will be included in the update to the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing (AI), which will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as a part of the City's new 2014-2018 Consolidated Plan in August 2014.
A wide variety of individuals will be asked to fill this survey out: the general public; business owners; non-profit service providers; elected and appointed officials; public employees; and, recipients of assistance. We are looking for a broad background of participants. Your responses are important to this process.
Please be assured that no personal identifying information is asked in this survey, and no individual responses will be published.
Some may find questions in this survey unpleasent. It is not the intent of this survey to disparage any group or profession, but to honestly access the public's perception of potential fair housing issues.
