The learning objectives for this session were:
1. Participants will learn proper language and terms to use when reviewing applications and forming motions.
2. Participants will be able to identify strategies for dealing with applicants who do not “buy in” to the regulatory process of design review.
3. Participants will learn how to identify incomplete components of a Certificate of Appropriateness application.
4. Participants will have a better understanding of conflict of interest and ethical concerns amongst commission members.
